Short BIO:
drawing, writing stories, and creating little paper doll families took up much of my time as a child. growing up in suburbs southwest of Boston, Massachusetts gave me a deep respect for nature, cold winters and Red Sox fans. i studied art and design at RISD, MassART, and Clark University, to name a few schools. after a successfull career as production coordinator and graphic designer for Hometon Weekly Newspaers, i hit the road as The Grass Gypsys' band manager in 2006. at the end of the tour i fell in love with a setting sun over ocean waves at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, California, so i decided to stay for a bit. there i discovered my love of body art, and working with children. nearing the end of 2007, i had the urge to migrate north and presently my homebase is in San Francisco, California, where i continue my path as an artist, creating and teaching the art of henna, painting bodies and faces, volunteering as a teacher with Paint Brush Fire Workshops, freelancing my graphic and web design skills by moonlight for other artists, non-profits and businesses and some how i do still find the time to have a full-time position as an office sales marketing administrator and graphic designer for an innovative engineering company....oh yeah, and always adding to my ever evolving repetoire that is life :)
